Morytania Madness #1- The Vyrewatch

Hello! This is my first post in a series about Morytania! This is also my first post. I hope it's helpful. Enjoy... SLAYING THE VYREWATCH History: The Vyrewatch are probably some form of Vampyre mixed with another species. Some say the daeyalt ore(will talk about this later)is part of the process. Vyrewatch are the most powerful form of Vampyre next to Lord Drakan and his family. Still, there is much to discover in the coming 5th Myreque quest... Requirements... Quests: Legacy of Seergaze; Items: Ivandis Flail, Teak or higher Pyre logs, tinderbox. Recommended Options... Quests: Ghosts Ahoy, Haunted Mine; Items: Prayer Armor, food(monkfish or sharks), prayer potions, Ectophial, Salve Amulet or Salve Amulet(e), Regen Bracelet(2x Life Point regeneration!!)

Combat Level 75+ would be an advantage!

Some regular items that help greatly...

Items that should be equiped:

START by doing all the Myreque quests and getting the Ivandis Flail. Without that, you couldn't even scratch a Vyre! To begin your Vyre slaying career, get supplies at the Grand Exchange. Once you got all the items you need(the ones I listed above), head on over to Meiyerditch. If you have an ectophial(Ghosts Ahoy) just teleport to the Ectofuntus and walk down. If not, you'll have to walk all the way there! When you travel through the swamp, leave your food in the bank. The ghasts will rot some of it. Once you arrive in Burgh de Rott, get your items out of the bank that you use for combat. Head towards Meiyerditch and go to the spot(in RED) I suggest in this map:

Then just keep killing as many Vyres as you want! I usually go for about 10 per trip. They drop a Vyre corpse, which will be explained in part 2...

Note: Don't worry about the Vyrewatch "taking interest" in you. Just get tithed, eat, and then kill it! Also, using the special attack of your flail will cause it to degrade, so don't use it too much!

Here are some snapshots of me fighting the Vyrewatch! Take a look!

Sweet back shot!

Swooping down to kill me! But it's futile!

Starting another fight!

CREMATING THE VYRE CORPSES

Once you have killed at least 10 vyres, take them over to the columbarium at Paterdomus, temple on the salve(along with pyre logs, teak or greater, and DO NOT forget your TINDERBOX). You should know where this is, since you did this in Legacy of Seergaze. Just go down the staircase. Place your logs on a funeral pyre. Then the Vyre, then light it. A Vyre ghost will come out of the pyre, it WILL NOT ATTACK YOU. The whole process looks like this:

Placing the logs and the Vyre corpse on the funeral Pyre.
Using the tinderbox on the pyre and cremating the Vyre.

Vyre ghost comes out, corpse and logs dissapear, key appears at front of pyre.

Use the columbarium key to open one of the wooden recess's located on the wall. If you are persistent, you could get a zamorak page, god armor, trimmed armor, or anything worth a lot. This time, I didn't get those, but I made almost 50k. It's also good for charms if you like to summon.

Here's a list of some of the items you can get...
